For most cases, we work on an hourly basis. There are a few types of jobs that we do for a set price. Please call to get an up-to-date price quote.
Payment options are tricky. When we represent people who live in the Randolph-Monroe County area, we generally know who we are dealing with and what to expect in the way of payment. When we represent somebody who does not have a history in the area, we need to be more careful. As much as we would like to, we can't set up lenient payment schedules because there is no way to guarantee that we will be paid after all the work is done.
On the other hand, we do not need a retainer when we are guaranteed that we will be paid at the end of the case (such as the sale of Real Estate or in a Probate case).
Please call us to discuss possible payment plans.
For most out-of-state clients, we do charge a retainer. Each month, we will send an itemized bill and then deduct the amount from your retainer.
